Boys Basketball Open Gym
Basketball open gym for middle and high school BOYS grades 5th-12th, will begin on July 25th 2022, 4-6PM at Sinking Creek Baptist Church. Parents will also need to fill out paperwork on this day and this is an opportunity to meet the coaches and basketball coordinator. Any boys within this age range who are interested in possibly play basketball with TEACH Guardians this fall, are welcome to attend.
There is no cost to attend open gym, and you are not required to be a TEACH member to attend open gym. You must be a TEACH member to tryout and play for the team.
The intent of open gym is to work on specific basketball skills. Although optional, open gym attendance is strongly recommended for those who plan to try out for TEACH Guardians boys basketball teams. This program is a competitive program, not a recreational one. Our teams will play private schools, public schools, and other home school teams.
Tryouts will be late August or early September. Games will begin in November and run through the end of February.
